Home energy storage system for a single phase

This project was implemented in three stages. At the first stage, we conducted an inspection of the existing power supply system. At the second stage, we selected the right type of UPS with external batteries, taking into account the customer’s wishes; At the third stage, we implemented the project. Please see a step-by-step implementation of the project below.

The main reason for contacting us were frequent short-term outages of the city mains.

Brief characteristics of the house:

The house is powered by a three-phase mains;
The house has three floors;
Each floor has its own electrical distribution board;
The main distribution board is located in the basement.

Solution

After the inspection, the most appropriate solution was proposed:

Replace the main distribution board;
Connect an inverter with rechargeable batteries to a phase for one phase;
Connect priority consumers, whose interruption disrupts the life support of the house, to the phase with the inverter. Such as: a gas boiler, a heating circulation pump, a water supply pump, a refrigerator, CCTV, lighting, Internet, automatic gates, an alarm system.
